EV Chargers, Smart Panels, Backup Power Systems…

Hi! My name is Joe. I’m the owner of Powerhouse Electric, an independent electrical contractor—based here in Albuquerque. I have experience installing Level 2 EV (electric vehicle) chargers, replacing electrical panels/service upgrades, backup power systems… You’ll receive my commitment to your project, as well as my personal craftsmanship—while ensuring a clean, organized, small footprint at your home or business. Please call, text or email me so that I may explain things in more detail on why a Level 2 EV charger, smart electrical panel, and backup power system are excellent home or business upgrades. Besides answering any electrical questions that you may have, I can provide you with a well researched custom quote—usually after a site visit.

Smart Power defined in terms of how Powerhouse Electric actually delivers this concept to you:

A smart electrical system that helps you integrate, manage, and control the electrical things that are integral in your life:

  • Level 2 EV chargers that help you efficiently charge your vehicle at home or your business
  • smart electrical panels that allow you to monitor, manage, and control every circuit in your home
  • backup power systems that allow your to use essential electrical things during a power outage

Commitment to providing you with a quality project:

  • As a professional electrician, I have the privilege of installing some of the most innovative products in our lifetime. I strive to match this innovation by providing you with a quality installation that I believe includes a level of sophistication in itself.
  • Every electrical project is different and unique, and there are certainly some situations where installing wiring concealed in walls, above ceilings or underground is not really practical. However, there are situations where a new or retrofitted electrical installation can look as if it has always been there and when that opportunity exists, I will always offer that solution first.

Peripheral capabilities and skills that contribute to a quality installation:

  • mobility through confining spaces, such as attics and crawl spaces
  • excavation and trenching by hand and/or equipment; returning landscaping to its original condition or better
  • concrete cutting and chipping
  • fishing cables in walls, when possible
  • sheetrock/wallboard patch and repair
  • working at a height: tall ladders, scaffolding, lift equipment, roofs...
  • proper material selection, as well as level and plumb installations when the system has to be exposed
  • providing assistance within apps
